Description

Manage tasks and oversee department of mechanical engineers and designers. Accountable for time allocation and project completion timelines Work with mechanical and production teams to develop optimal DfM designs for product Review of drawings, best practices, and designs with mechanical team. Assign and monitor tasks and timelines within the department. Working with teams within company to develop, manage and maintain project schedules and deadlines. Create 3D models and Drawings of new components for fabrication. Create Assemblies and drawings of products using Solidworks. Revise designs & drawings based on internal and customer feedback. Develop new designs to meet and exceed customer needs based on technical requirements. Design of lighting systems for locomotive and rail passenger vehicle
