Job summary

Superior Cabinets in Winnipeg is seeking a Design Consultant to help homeowners, renovators and builders turn ideas into functional, beautiful kitchen spaces while collaborating with our Design, Operations, Manufacturing and Installation teams.

You will meet clients, create tailored designs, promote products, manage orders from concept to completion, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of kitchen design and sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of building codes and compliance issues.
  • Proficiency with design software such as 2020 Design Technologies and AutoCAD.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with retail customers, renovators, and small home builders to understand needs and recommend cabinet solutions.
  • Create thoughtful kitchen designs tailored to each client’s vision.
  • Promote and sell Superior Cabinets products and services with confidence.
  • Manage customer orders from concept through completion, ensuring details are accurate and timelines are supported.
  • Provide excellent customer support throughout the design and installation process.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and develop relationships with new accounts.
  • Complete site measurements and mark-outs to support accurate project planning.
  • Conduct installation inspections to help ensure customer satisfaction and quality results.

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and customer-focused Design Consultant to join our Winnipeg team. In this role, you will help homeowners, renovators, and builders turn ideas into functional, beautiful kitchen spaces while working closely with our Design, Operations, Manufacturing, and Installation teams.

Location: Winnipeg

Main Responsibilities
  • Meet with retail customers, renovators, and small home builders to understand their needs and recommend cabinet solutions that fit their style, space, and budget.
  • Create thoughtful and inspiring kitchen designs tailored to each client’s vision.
  • Promote and sell Superior Cabinets products and services with confidence and professionalism.
  • Manage customer orders from concept through completion, ensuring details are accurate and timelines are supported.
  • Provide excellent customer support throughout the design and installation process.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and develop relationships with new accounts as needed.
  • Complete site measurements and mark-outs to support accurate project planning.
  • Conduct installation inspections to help ensure customer satisfaction and quality results.

Education and/or Training
  • Working knowledge of building codes and compliance issues
  • A degree or diploma from an accredited interior design or architecture program will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of one year of experience in kitchen design and sales
  • Experience in design software such as 2020 Design Technologies, AutoCAD, etc.
  • A valid driver’s license (and vehicle)
