Role and Facility Information

Fraser Health Authority is seeking 2 consulting Dermatologists to join the current Dermatology Group, which currently has 2 Dermatologists. The group provides services to the communities of Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission. The Dermatologists will primarily offer outpatient and private community services, and will also provide consulting services to inpatients at ARHCC, CGH, and MMH. Additionally, they are expected to obtain Clinical Faculty appointments with the University of British Columbia and to supervise, mentor, and teach medical trainees.

Facilities

• Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre: A 272-bed, UBC-affiliated hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, tertiary palliative care, helipad, and 24/7 emergency services with 79,289 visits annually.
• Chilliwack General Hospital: A 131-bed, UBC-affiliated community hospital providing medical, surgical, obstetrics, psychiatry, a regional eye centre, and 24/7 emergency services with 60,585 visits annually.
• Mission Memorial Hospital: A 45-bed community hospital offering acute and ambulatory care, with 24/7 emergency services and 21,022 visits annually.
