Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior editor to lead the Intelligence Unit’s journalism, shaping high-impact reporting on Canada’s defining issues.

You will work with reporters, contributors and external subject-matter experts to develop rigorous analyses and compelling storytelling across platforms, while maintaining editorial standards and exploring new formats for impact.

Qualifications

• At least five years of senior editing experience at a major publication or newsroom.
• Demonstrated editorial judgment and attention to detail.
• Expertise in long-form, explanatory or enterprise journalism.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Interest in public policy, business and societal issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
