Job summary

Princess Auto Ltd. is seeking a Department Leader (Team Leader Trainee) to guide Team Members and create a fun, safe shopping experience under the Royal Service model.

You will lead in-store tasks, respond to customer inquiries with product knowledge, train teammates, uphold safety and loss prevention, and contribute to a positive, results-driven retail culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a retail or service environment.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop Team Members and respond to inquiries with product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Team Members in your department to complete store plans and tasks.
• Respond to Team Member and customer inquiries with category-specific product knowledge.
• Provide on-the-job training and development for Team Members.

So what’s this role all about?

As a Department Leader (Team Leader Trainee) at Princess Auto you will help create a fun, safe and unique shopping experience for our customers. We call it Royal Service. You will typically spend your day leading Team Members in your department to complete store plans and tasks. You will respond to Team Member and customer inquiries with category-specific product knowledge, support on-the-job training and development of Team Members, maintain a safe and respectful work environment, and manage loss prevention processes.
