Experience: 5 years or more

Work setting: On site (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.)

Responsibilities

1. Design dental devices
2. Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants
3. Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands
4. Prepare plaster models and moulds
5. Train other dental technicians
6. Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
7. Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory
8. Maintain and order supplies
9. Mould wax over dentures set-up
10. Finish metal framework of dentures
11. Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
12. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
13. Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
14. Polish and buff dentures
