Job summary

McGill University in Montreal invites applications for Teaching Assistant positions in the Management of Partial Edentulism course (DENT 246). TAs will support lab sessions, supervise RPD classification, fabrication of record bases and custom trays, and assist with design and surveying of Kennedy Class I-IV dentures.

Qualified candidates hold a DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent and are enrolled in an MSc/PhD program in Dentistry or a related field.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD, or foreign equivalent required.
• Sound knowledge of removable partial dentures and proficiency in clinical and laboratory techniques for RPD design/fabrication.
• Must be registered in MSc or PhD program in Dentistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in RPD topics during lab sessions.
• Provide hands-on support during laboratory sessions and guide RPD exercises.
• Assist with evaluation of students’ lab work using provided assessment criteria.
