Job summary

River Oaks Dental in Oakville is seeking a Sterilization Assistant to join a collaborative clinical team. You will clean, package, sterilize, and store instruments, monitor equipment, and support safe, efficient patient flow.

Legally able to work in Canada with IPAC experience a plus; completion of Dental Assisting or MDRT programs preferred. We offer competitive pay, professional development, and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• IPAC knowledge and sanitation standards familiarity.
• Completion of accredited Dental Assisting or MDRT programs preferred.
• IPAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments per IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, documenting required testing.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.
