Job summary

Sutherland Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join a long-standing, patient-focused team in Canada. The practice emphasizes high-quality preventive care, continuous learning, and using modern technology to enhance patient outcomes.

You will provide comprehensive hygiene services, educate patients on preventive techniques, and build lasting relationships through personalized care and professionalism. A supportive culture and growth opportunities are highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
