Job summary

Hall Dental in Lethbridge, Alberta, is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist for a part-time role. You will plan, implement, and evaluate preventive hygiene services, including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening, while educating patients and promoting oral health with cutting-edge technology in a modern clinic.

Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required, with current registration in good standing and valid CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
