Job summary

River Dental in Medicine Hat invites a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team of six dentists providing full-service dental care including orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, cosmetics and sedation.

Our clinic uses modern technology and emphasizes patient education, quality care, and continuous learning. The role focuses on preventative hygiene services, patient education, and delivering a tailored experience to each patient within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on patient expectations, while maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
