Job summary

Oceanfront Dentistry in Downtown Vancouver seeks a qualified Dental Hygienist to join our team within the Dentalcorp network. The role focuses on comprehensive preventive hygiene services and patient education to enhance oral health and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, polishing and whitening.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive techniques.

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is starting from $60/hourdepending onskills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish andretainpatient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistentlymaintainingethical and professionalbehaviour

About You:

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degreeisrequired
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory bodyisrequired
• Valid CPR certificationisrequired
