Job summary

Artistic Smiles in Edmonton is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide preventive care and patient education in a modern clinic with digital x-ray capabilities, including CT imaging, and a commitment to continual learning.

You will assess and treat patients, perform scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening, and foster a tailored, ethical patient experience while advancing professionally.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish andretain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistentlymaintaining ethicaland professionalbehaviour
