Position: Registered Dental Hygienist

About Our Office:

We are a Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) Certified Office. While GBT certification is an asset, we offer and pay for training for motivated individuals. Our office has embraced the GBT system, which enhances clinical excellence and improves ergonomics and physical demands for hygienists, benefiting both staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical history
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Assess oral health for doctor examinations
• Perform Zoom Whitening procedures
• Take impressions
• Apply fissure sealants
• Educate patients about oral health
• Use Itero scanning technology

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Digital and software proficiency, understanding Dentrix software is an asset
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team and support periodontal health
• Full-time position with flexible hours; part-time options available
• Experience with Zoom Whitening or similar procedures, with the ability to diagnose and recommend treatments
• Ability to use Dentrix continuing care lists to contact and schedule patients during cancellations or downtime
