Job summary

The Marshall Group is seeking an experienced, professional Certified Dental Assistant for a busy dental office in Toronto. NO WEEKENDS!!!!

Requirements include NDAEB certification, 3–5 years of experience, HARP certification, and strong English communication. iTero scanner experience is preferred; you must be tech-savvy with dental software. Location is Toronto (Bathurst/Bloor). Hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts rotated among 2 other CDAs.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (NDAEB) is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience as a CDA.
• HARP certification is required.
• Experience with dental software and strong computer skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dental operatories for procedures.
• Assist the dentist during restorations, extractions, and Invisalign-related work.
• Take high-quality digital x-rays (including panorex) for adults and children.
• Take dental impressions and use iTero scanner.
• Fabricate custom whitening trays.
• Maintain sterile protocols in operatory and lab.
• Provide excellent patient care and educate patients on procedures.
• Assist hygienists with periodontal charting and data entry.

Busy Dental office in Toronto is looking for an experienced, professional Certified Dental Assistant.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Certified Dental Assistant (NDAEB certification required)
• Minimum 3-5 years experience
• iTero Digital Scanner experience preferred
• Must be HARP certified
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), tech-savvy, and highly confident using computers/dental software.

LOCATION: Toronto (Bathurst/Bloor)

HOURS: Monday to Friday (8-4:30, 8:30-5:30) Shifts are rotated between 2 other CDA

COMPENSATION:

$27-$30 TBD depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Setting up and breaking down dental operatories for scheduled procedures.
• Assisting the Dentist during procedures (restorations, extractions, comprehensive oral exams, Invisalign, crown/bridge preps, and implantrestorations).
• Taking efficient, high-quality digital X-rays (including panorex) for adults andchildren.
• Taking dental impressions with alginate or using our iTero digital scanner.
• Fabricating custom whitening trays.
• Following strict sterilization and infection control protocols in the lab andoperatory.
• Providing exceptional patient care, helping clients understand their dentalconditions and scheduled procedures.
• Assisting dental hygienists with periodontal probing and recording readingsin the charting software.
• Navigating digital dental software for seamless, paperless patient charting.
• Ensure all dental and hygiene rooms remain stocked up.
• In-Office teeth whitening

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Certification: Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant (Required NDAEB)
• Traits: Pro-active attitude, punctual, compassionate, organized, and a strong team player who enjoys building connections with patients. A calmdemeanor with emotional maturity when handling patient care andunforeseen emergencies. Candidate must exemplify flexibility and adaptability.
