EDUCATION:
Possession of a Dental Assistant Diploma Level II from an accredited Institution.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Must have current First Aid and CPR certification.
National Dental Assistance Examination Board (NDAEB) certification.
Possession of registration/Licensure with a provincial regulatory body or association as required in the province of work.
EXPERIENCES:
Experience working as a level II dental assistant.
Experience using Microsoft Office.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
Experience using a scheduler and electronic patient records.
Experience providing reception, scheduling or other admin duties in a dental office.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEED:
As a result of workforce adjustment, affected indeterminate DND employees within the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE - UIC 2671) at 4 Wing Cold Lake or within the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS – UIC 7777) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield will be appointed or deployed to positions for which they are qualified ahead of other candidates.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Reliability Status security clearance
National Dental Assistance Examination Board (NDAEB) certification.
