Intent of the process

- A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and used to staff identical or similar positions with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, operational requirements, and conditions of employment at the Department of National Defence.

- The intent of this process is to fill 2 indeterminate positions (permanent) basis in Valcartier, Quebec.

Information you must provide
In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
Diploma of vocational studies (DVS/DEP) from a recognized school of skills Assessment for Ministry of Education in QC or possession of a valid Level II Dental Assisting certificate from a recognized accredited program.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing dental assisting services in a clinical environment.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work in different clinics within the same organization, namely Dental Detachment Valcartier and the Citadelle de Québec satellite clinic.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest.

Must have current First Aid and CPR certification.
