Integrated Staffing Limited is seeking General Labourers for a physically demanding demolition and site-work role in Elmsdale, NS. Duties include interior demolition, flooring removal, grinding, signage removal, and assisting with concrete and gravel tasks.

Candidates should have CSA-approved boots and hard hat; WHMIS/Fall Arrest/Aerial Lift are assets. Position involves outdoor work, variable weather, and exposure to heavy equipment; transportation to site is required.

Job description

Are you comfortable with physical work and working in a fast-paced construction environment? We're looking for reliable General Labourers to assist with demolition and site work. Duties will include selective interior demolition, flooring removal, grinding, removing signage and exterior bricks, trenching and saw cutting concrete, debris removal, wheelbarrowing, and assisting with concrete and gravel work. This is a physically demanding role that involves working both indoors and outdoors and may include working around heavy equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, candidates must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots, a CSA-approved hard hat, and a reflective vest. Hard hats and reflective vests can be provided if needed. WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Lift certifications are considered assets. Candidates must be physically capable of regularly lifting 40–50 lbs and up to 80 lbs when required. This position involves working in all weather conditions, so candidates must be prepared to dress appropriately in layers and shorts are not permitted. Experience with saw cutting is an asset. Candidates must be comfortable working around equipment such as saws and mini excavators. Only properly trained workers will perform work at heights, and only experienced operators will operate aerial lifts. Reliable transportation or the ability to consistently get to the job site in Elmsdale is required.
