Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, formwork, and finishing according to project specifications.
• Assist with concrete work, including pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces.
• Install insulated concrete foundations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project deadlines and goals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in carpentry or construction work, with a preference for at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites in Torbay, NL.

Preferred Qualifications
