Job summary

FGF Brands is seeking a Demand Planner (Supply Chain Analyst) to drive data-informed decisions across our Canadian supply chain. You will run key reports, forecast promotions, and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align production planning with demand signals.

Ideal candidates possess post-secondary business education focused on supply chain, 2–3 years in supply chain, strong Excel, and familiarity with VBA/Python or ERP systems to enable advanced analytics.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain.
  • 2-3 years of supply chain experience or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel is a must.
  • VBA, Python or any other language for statistical computing and data visualization would be a strength.
  • Some ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Run reports/tools used to support decision making in Supply Chain.
  • Thorough understanding of material and information flow across the internal FGF supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop and maintain the Sales Forecast that drives the production planning process.
  • Thorough understanding of how new products are introduced (from a planning viewpoint).
  • Thorough understanding of promotion cycles by customer, product transitions, fluctuating trends, product seasonality.
  • Monitor sales forecast performance and reflect in forecasting future sales after consulting with the Sales team.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis requests, as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects by collaborating closely with other teams in the organization.

Overview

Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the main responsibility as Demand Planner (Supply Chain Analyst) is to run a series of reports/tools facilitating decisions in Supply Chain; As we continue to automate some of these reports/tools, the role will evolve into more predictive analysis of supply chain events.
