Qualifications

We are looking for a Demand Planner who will work closely with Category Managers to review forecast results and make forward-looking recommendations on opportunities in their respective category. You will also work with sourcing, category management, marketing, process optimization and go-to-market functions to understand forecasts and trends; and support testing, implementation, training, and adoption of the Ocado platform. This is a hybrid role and there is an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
  • Understand the demand for respective categories
  • Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide buying team with the right information to plan to meet that demand
  • Develop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm/communicates results; creates ad hoc reports as necessary
  • Identify forecast accuracy root causes and refine process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process
  • Support the company’s long-term strategy and inventory reduction while maintaining high Customer
  • Coordinate seasonal forecast and plans with merchandizing, suppliers, and distribution teams
  • Propose sales forecast based on observations, knowledge, and assessments; collaborate with partners to refine forecasts
  • Track projections and recommend appropriate action to achieve service level metrics
