Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a delivery driver for an interview-position to perform on-route pick-up and delivery with a strong focus on courteous, efficient service.

You will verify shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada standards and provide responsive customer service while adapting to changing schedules. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required. This is a PFT position with Mon-Sat start times at 10:00 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service standards.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Be flexible with schedules and holidays based on business needs.
