Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Warehouse/Delivery Driver to support its growing operations. You will operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers, load the truck, verify paperwork, and obtain signatures and payments as needed.

The role requires a clean driving record, physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the willingness to perform warehouse tasks and adhere to DOT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle safely to delivery destinations and obtain customer confirmation.
• Load the truck and verify paperwork and product condition.
• Unload deliveries and collect signatures and payments when applicable.
• Maintain accurate manifests and return paperwork for items.
• Assist with vendor pickups and returns as needed.
• Comply with company policies and DOT procedures.
• Report shortages and damages to inventory.

Job description

As a part of our growth, PGW Auto Glass, a leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years experience, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Warehouse/Delivery Driver. PGW has over 100 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. The Delivery Driver must have an excellent driving record. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers.

• Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
• Physically loads Company truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Drives to the delivery destination, confirms order with customer, unloads and verifies product, obtains confirmation signature and payment from customer.
• Makes proper notations on the manifest and provides receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.
• Picks up buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor "fill in" purchase orders and delivers parts back to the branch or customer.
• Collects COD payments, as necessary.
• Works in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products.
• Complies with established Company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.
• Subject to DOT Procedures - driver logs, unexpired medical card, etc.
