Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers, load and inspect the truck, and ensure accurate paperwork and signatures at delivery.

Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed. This role requires adherence to DOT procedures and company policies, with opportunities for COD handling where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in delivery driving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous manner.
• Load the truck and verify the manifest and related paperwork.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Obtain customer signature and payment; verify delivery accuracy.
• Maintain accurate manifests and receipts for returns.
• Collect COD payments when required.
• Follow company policies to prevent shortages and damage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with DOT procedures including logs and medical card for qualified drivers.

As a part of our growth, PGW Auto Glass, a leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years experience, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Warehouse/Delivery Driver. PGW has over 100 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. The Delivery Driver must have an excellent driving record. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers. PGW offers competitive pay, matching 401K, medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

Essential Job Duties

• Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
• Physically loads Company truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Drives to the delivery destination, confirms order with customer, unloads and verifies product, obtains confirmation signature and payment from customer.
• Makes proper notations on the manifest and provides receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.
• Picks up buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor "fill in" purchase orders and delivers parts back to the branch or customer.
• Collects COD payments, as necessary.
• Works in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products.
• Complies with established Company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Drivers over 10,001 lbs.

• Subject to DOT Procedures - driver logs, unexpired medical card, etc.
