Job summary

Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Delivery Driver to support daily operations in the local area. This role involves delivering a variety of products to multiple addresses, maintaining routes, and ensuring on-time service.

You will load and unload, operate a pallet jack, collect payments, complete logs, and perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks while adhering to safety standards. Minimum Grade 12 and a valid Class 5 license with clean abstract are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
• Class 5 license with clean abstract.
• Able to work both in a team environment and unsupervised.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of products to different addresses via various routes.
• Follow route time and schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Operate Pallet Jack.
• Collect payments.
• Fill in logs, reports, and customer paperwork.
• Conduct pre-shift truck circle checks (safety, tires, lights, fuel, oil/coolant).
• Perform end-of-shift truck checks and refuel as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and standards.
