Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Driver II for the Distribution Centre to ensure safe, timely delivery of goods to ministry units and donors. You will collect donated materials and operate vehicles including 3- and 5-ton trucks, cube vans or panel vans, while maintaining logs and safety standards.

This permanent full-time position requires a valid driver's license, forklift experience may be needed, and a commitment to The Salvation Army's health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for the province.
• 1 year of safe driving experience.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on time from DC to ministry units or donors.
• Load/unload items and operate forklift/hand cart as needed.
• Maintain CVOR log and vehicle checks.
• Adhere to TSA policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean vehicle, warehouse and yard areas.
