Job summary

RONA is seeking a delivery driver to join our team in Rouyn-Noranda. You will participate in delivery preparation, operate company vehicles, and ensure on-time delivery to customers and job sites.

The role requires a valid Class 3 license, a clean driving record, and a focus on safety. Prior delivery experience is preferred, with good physical condition and upholding health and safety standards.

Become a member of the Rona delivery team, where your reliability and hospitality, combined with our well-maintained trucks, will create an exceptional customer experience at every stop.

Your role:

• Participate in the preparation of deliveries and the vehicle used, such as securing pallets, holding related documentation, etc.
• Carry out deliveries to homes and construction sites
• Track shipments until they reach their destination, while respecting delivery deadlines
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance, document daily inspections and ensure the safety of all equipment
• Work in accordance with store health and safety and loss prevention policies and procedures
• Know and apply road safety rules
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• A valid class 3 driver's license and an excellent driving record
• 1 year relevant experience
• A focus on health and safety in the workplace
• Good physical condition
