UPS is hiring a Full-Time Package Driver for our Ottawa location. You will drive to residential and commercial addresses, lift and move packages, and provide excellent customer service while following UPS safety standards. The role requires flexibility for start/end times and shifts of 8–10 hours.

Benefits include paid training, benefits after one year, two weeks of vacation, and weekly pay. Strong driving record and a valid Ontario G license are essential.

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in navigating using maps, GPS devices, and map books.
Possession of a valid Ontario G driver's license.
Clean driving record: no at-fault accidents in last 3 years and <=2 violations; no traffic violations in last 12 months and 5 demerit points in last 3 years.
Strong customer service skills.

Learn and properly execute UPS safe and defensive driving methods.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.

Job Description

UPS Package Drivers deliver and pick up packages from residential and/or commercial properties. This role involves driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages in a physical, fast-paced environment. Drivers practice safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations, ensuring the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Workdays: Monday- Friday
Work Location: 2281 Stevenage Drive, Ottawa Ontario.
Shift Start: 9:15. Typical shifts are 8-10 hours. Flexibility is required for start and end times as work hours vary based on volume for the day.
