We are hiring casual Armed Driver Cash Transporters for our Cash Services division at our branch in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

What you’ll be doing

1. Perform pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
2. Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
3. Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
4. Follow established routes and schedules closely
5. Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
6. Load and unload the armored vehicle
7. Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
8. Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld Cash

1. Starting Wages: $23.17 / hr

What we’re looking for

1. Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
2. Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
3. Possess a British Columbia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
4. Capable of lifting loads up to 50 pounds
5. Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and/or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
6. Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
7. Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
8. Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
9. Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines
