Source Office Furniture & Systems Ltd. in Edmonton, AB is hiring a Delivery Driver for a full-time role. You will deliver office furniture to various locations, handle dock-to-dock and stair carries, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

The position requires 3 years’ experience driving a large truck, a clean driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. Valid Canada work authorization is required. Competitive wage and benefits follow probation.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5-ton) in traffic and on busy streets.
• Clean, professional appearance and exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of assembled and non-assembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area, with a colleague.
• Deliveries will consist of dock to dock, residential, business and stair carry when needed.
• Follow routes and a time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a 3 or a 5-ton truck.
• Complete daily inspection logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Collect payments.
• Assemble chairs prior to delivery when needed.
• Occasionally required to assist in the warehouse as needed.
