Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving, issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation. You will collaborate with a team that is client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, to optimize and trailblaze new solutions addressing real business challenges.

1. Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value through design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support.
2. Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing plans for installing, provisioning, testing, migrating to production, and managing day-two operations.
3. Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in workshops to develop technical solutions.
4. Building Effective Relationships: Developing relationships at all levels, from engineers to CxOs, navigating debates to reach resolutions.

IBM seeks experienced Technical Delivery Consultants to work directly with customer accounts, customizing, extending, and deploying IBM Verify Customer Identity, Workforce Identity, and Identity Privilege software in customer environments.

The role involves delivering projects leveraging IBM Verify solutions, providing guidance, implementation, and support, with a focus on IAM domain expertise. You will have skills in software and system design, including web applications, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Windows, supporting customized developments and implementations.

You will be responsible for deploying integration solutions based on IBM Hybrid Cloud, transforming client businesses, and defining project scope and vision. You will serve as a technical leader, liaising among business partners, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Deep knowledge of IAM domain, technologies, and best practices
• Expertise in deploying and managing IBM Verify solutions
• Understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization, and access control
• Experience integrating IBM Verify with various applications and systems
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Development or systems engineering experience
• Client-facing technical support or consulting experience
• Technical leadership in architecture, design, and development
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
• Scripting skills
• Experience with high availability environments and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory)
• Understanding of security best practices

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Verify tools
• Experience with IAM security domain
• Patching, upgrades, and migration expertise for IBM Verify
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and secure backup practices
• Experience in creating and supporting statements of work (SOW)
