Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving, issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation. You will collaborate with a team that is client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, to optimize and innovate solutions addressing real business challenges.

1. Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value through design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.
2. Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans, including installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and managing day-two operations.
3. Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.

IBM seeks experienced and dynamic Technical Delivery Consultants to work directly with customer accounts, customizing, extending, and deploying IBM Verify Customer Identity, IBM Verify Workforce Identity, and IBM Verify Identity Privileged Identity software in customer environments.

The role involves delivering projects leveraging IBM Verify Portfolio, including Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), IBM Verify Access, IBM Verify Governance, IBM Verify SaaS, and IBM Verify Identity Privilege. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM) with IBM Verify, providing guidance, implementation, and support for IBM clients.

You will have skills in software and system design, including knowledge of web applications, Kubernetes, Docker in Linux and Windows environments, and managing customized developments and implementations.

You will be responsible for deploying integration solutions based on IBM Hybrid Cloud approaches, helping clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define project scope and vision, serving as a technical leader and liaison among business partners, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise

• In-depth knowledge of IAM domain, technologies, and best practices
• Expertise in deploying and managing IBM Verify solutions
• Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
• Experience with integrating IBM Verify with various applications and systems
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Development and/or systems engineering experience
• Technical support or consulting client-facing experience, preferably in mission-critical operations
• Technical leadership experience in architecture, design, development, and team management
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
• Scripting skills
• Experience deploying code in high-availability environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS, MS Azure, or other cloud platforms
• Experience configuring VMware environments
• Strong knowledge of LDAP and Windows Active Directory
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Leadership skills are a plus

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Verify tools
• Experience in IAM security domain
• Applying patches and upgrades on IBM Verify
• Migrating IBM Verify from on-premises to SaaS
• Integrating applications with IBM Verify
• Infrastructure design or solution architecture skills
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of secure backups and restore practices
• Experience in creating and supporting statements of work (SOW)
• Assessing project activities, resources, and prerequisites
