Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking Delivery Assistants to support delivery and installation of appliances across Western Canada. You will greet customers, explain the process, and ensure a safe, professional handover from our team to customers' homes.

This role involves heavy lifting, on-road work, and collaboration with a delivery partner. A strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 100 lbs and handle heavy items safely.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain delivery process professionally.
• Safely deliver and install appliances in customers' homes.
• Collaborate with delivery partner and use dispatch software.
• Maintain safety practices and professional conduct on the road.
• Work five days a week Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

Compensation:

• Earn up to $25.58/hour (including a $2.43/hour bonus) for candidates with relevant experience
• Starting wage: $23.83/hour (including a $1.83/hour bonus)
• Guaranteed annual wage progression

• Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner.
• Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers' homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!
• Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship).
• Utilize state of the art dispatch software to complete the delivery process on company provided devices.
• A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• A willingness to learn new skills and product handling techniques (We will teach you how to install a washer and dryer - impress your friends and family).
• Physical ability to consistently lift over a 100 lbs. and move large, heavy and bulky items (Again, throw your gym membership away - you'll be lifting refrigerators in no time).
• Great people skills and an ability to wow our customers.
• On the road, customers' home, and warehouse
• Scheduled 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am start until 4:00pm (Occasional overtime as required)
