Trail Appliances in Delta, BC is seeking Delivery Assistants to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will greet customers, explain the delivery process, safely install appliances, and represent the company on the road, delivering smiles from sale to home.

The role requires physical strength (lift over 100 lbs), a valid driver's license, and at least 3 years of appliance delivery or similar experience plus strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering appliances or similar goods.
• Strong customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain the delivery process in a professional manner.
• Safely handle and install appliances in customers' homes; heavy lifting required.
• Coordinate daily with a delivery partner and follow dispatch instructions.
• Utilize company dispatch software to complete deliveries on provided devices.
• Prioritize personal safety and customer safety during all steps of delivery.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Willingness to learn new skills and product handling techniques (e.g., install washers/dryers).
• Physically able to lift over 100 lbs and move bulky items.
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude with customers; provide a great experience on the road and at homes/warehouses.
• Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Saturday start times 7am or 7:30am, until 3:30pm or 4:00pm; occasional overtime.

Compensation:

• Starting at $ 22.00 per hour + $1.83 Bonus
• Experienced Candidates: $ 23.15 per hour + $1.83 Bonus
• Guaranteed yearly wage progression
• You must have at least 3 years of experience in delivering appliances or similar goods, as well as experience in customer service

• Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner.
• Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!
• Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship.)
• Utilize state of the art dispatch software to complete the delivery process on company provided devices.
• A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• A willingness to learn new skills and product handling techniques (We will teach you how to install a washer and dryer – impress your friends and family).
• Physical ability to consistently lift over a 100 lbs. and move large, heavy and bulky items (Again, throw your gym membership away – you’ll be lifting refrigerators in no time).
• Great people skills and an ability to wow our customers.

• Scheduled 5 days a week between Monday to Saturday 7am or 7:30am start until 3:30pm or 4:00pm (Occasional overtime as required)
