Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking Delivery Assistants to join our team and deliver outstanding customer experiences from the point of sale to customers’ homes. You will be on the road daily, greeting customers, explaining the delivery process, and safely installing and placing our appliances in their homes.

This role requires physical strength to lift heavy items, a willingness to learn new skills (including washer and dryer installation), and the ability to work Saturdays with occasional overtime.

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances (over 100 lbs).
• Willingness to learn installation techniques (e.g., washer/dryer).
• Valid availability to work Saturdays and potentially overtime.

Compensation:

• Earn up to $25.58/hour (including a $2.43/hour bonus) for candidates with relevant experience
• Starting wage: $23.83/hour (including a $1.83/hour bonus)
• Guaranteed annual wage progression

Job responsibilities and benefits

• Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner.
• Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!
• Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship.)
• Utilize state of the art dispatch software to complete the delivery process on company provided devices.
• A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• A willingness to learn new skills and product handling techniques (We will teach you how to install a washer and dryer - impress your friends and family).
• Physical ability to consistently lift over a 100 lbs. and move large, heavy and bulky items (Again, throw your gym membership away - you'll be lifting refrigerators in no time).
• Great people skills and an ability to wow our customers.
• On the road, customer’s home, and warehouse
• Scheduled 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am start until 4:00pm (Occasional overtime as required)
