Job summary

Wild Rose Co-op in Camrose is seeking a part-time Deli team member for the Camrose Food location. The role supports customer service, merchandised departments, and inventory tasks within a retail deli environment.

You will work 24-32 hours per week, with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Benefits include profit-sharing, EFAP, discounts, and a pension plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service.
• Maintain neat, clean, merchandised department.
• Stock inventory and conduct counts.
• Adhere to government standards and regulations for Camrose Food store.
• Complete in-house training and e-learning certifications.
• Monitor for unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment.
• Ensure merchandise quality meets store standards.
• Follow cleaning, maintenance, and safety policies.
• Comply with Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures.
• Operate computers; heavy lifting of products as needed.

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required):

Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service

Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department

All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts

Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Camrose Food store Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses

Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment

Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards

Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others

Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures

This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products.

This position will report to the Deli Manager - Camrose Food.

This is a PT-time position based on 24-32 hrs/week, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
