Job summary

Meadow Lake Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Deli Clerk for our Grocery Store. Reporting to the Deli Manager, you will meet brand guidelines, ensure dress and hygiene standards, and provide a high level of customer service.

You will be knowledgeable about products and sources, adhere to food safety procedures, and maintain deli displays while helping customers and supporting teamwork. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Customer‑facing role with a focus on service quality.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on dress code, hygiene and customer service.
• Provide high level of customer service and product knowledge.
• Adhere to Food Safety procedures and maintain deli display standards.
• Handle deli products and ensure accurate display and labeling.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Deli Manager.

Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times;
Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment;
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their sources.
Adhere to Food Safety Procedures
Maintain and display all types of deli products according to standards.
Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.
