Meadow Lake Co-op is seeking a Full Time Liquor Store Clerk for our Liquor Store. You will represent the Meadow Lake Co-op values and brand, ensuring top-tier customer service while upholding merchandising and safety standards. Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends is required.

Applicants should be at least 19, have retail experience, and be willing to obtain SIRS Certification (covered by the Co-op). A positive team player with a professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude.
• Must be at least 19 years of age with previous retail experience.
• Experience with wine, spirits and beer is an asset but not required.
• Willingness to obtain SIRS Certification (paid by Co-op).
• Must be available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends; flexible.

Meadow Lake Co-op is hiring a Full Time Liquor Store Clerk at our Liquor Store

What youll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
• Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
• Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times;
• Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment;
• Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards;
• Adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op Policies & Procedures and the asset protection program;
• Adhere to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines;
• Participate in all OH&S requirements, and be knowledgeable about the compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation;
• Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery;
• Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source;
• Other duties as assigned.
