Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and products are in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli merchandise; prepares hot food and provides assistance.
• Prepares deli items using utensils; rotisserie chicken and side dishes for display area.
• Prepares bakery items following thawing and baking guidelines for quality and appearance.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
