Longo's is seeking a Deli Assistant Department Manager - Full Time to lead a fast-paced deli team and support daily operations. You will mentor staff, drive customer service excellence, and ensure proper merchandizing and inventory management to meet financial goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, health & safety compliance, and a collaborative store environment where teamwork is valued and recognized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of deli department experience with solid product knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with team and customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and mentor Team Members.
• Provide support with regular team meetings.
• Coach and train Team Members to maintain high productivity.
• Handle Team Member and customer issues.
• Uphold company policies including health & safety, food safety and loss prevention.
• Merchandise, manage inventory and schedule to meet financial objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service to Team Members, Customers and Vendors.
