Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Advisor/Account Manager based in the US or Canada to support clients in cloud operations, launch/capacity planning, product release management, technical support, escalation management, and IT consulting. This role involves guiding customers through their cloud transformation journey, helping them leverage Google Cloud technologies to achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption strategies, aligning technology with business objectives and driving digital transformation.
- Develop financial models and conduct ROI analyses to demonstrate the value of cloud investments.
- Advise on cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) from GCP, tailoring recommendations to client needs.
- Implement cloud cost optimization strategies and governance frameworks.
- Assess risks related to cloud solutions and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Communicate strategies effectively to stakeholders, including executives and IT teams.
- Stay updated on cloud technology trends and market developments.
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers to ensure optimal support.
- Conduct client training on cloud concepts and best practices.
- Create thought leadership content on emerging cloud technologies.
- Demonstrate understanding of cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, serverless, and containers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Coordinate customer events and product launches, collaborating with support and engineering teams.
- Translate customer insights into best practices and resources for wider adoption.
Minimum Requirements
- Deep understanding of GCP and its services.
- Strong business acumen, including financial modeling and ROI analysis.
