Job summary

Crown Metal Packaging Canada LP, Beverage Packaging Division, located in the Foothills Industrial Park of Southeast Calgary, is seeking a Decorator Operator to support aluminum can production. The role involves operating automated equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining efficiency and safety.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years of production experience with a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of production experience.
• Must have valid forklift license.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience with production equipment and mechanical operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more automated machines to produce aluminum beverage cans.
• Perform quality checks and adjust equipment to maintain high quality at low cost.
• Keep lines flowing and coordinate with Supervisors on status and issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Report issues and participate in shift rotation duties.
