Job summary

Siemens Canada is seeking an Energy and Decarbonization Engineer to work with clients and partners on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. You will analyze energy use, perform audits, and identify opportunities for cost-effective improvements.

You will lead engineering calculations, develop design concepts, and help prepare sales documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Canada and internationally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Energy Engineering experience with large HVAC retrofit, mechanical, electrical and controls projects.
• Building central plants, HVAC and electrical systems knowledge.
• Energy decarbonization and energy efficiency expertise.
• Familiarity with M&V protocols and CO2 reduction measures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and Siemens BD team to understand needs and support project development.
• Perform utility bill analysis and develop energy intensity indices.
• Conduct facility energy audits and propose FIMs and renewal opportunities.
• Lead measurement and verification contracts and client meetings.
• Develop performance contracting proposals and project designs.
