About the Role:

The DC Equipment Operator plays a critical role in the efficient operation of a distribution center by safely and effectively handling various types of material handling equipment. This position ensures the timely movement, loading, and unloading of goods within the facility, directly impacting inventory accuracy and overall supply chain performance. The operator is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition and adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage. Collaboration with warehouse staff and supervisors is essential to coordinate daily tasks and meet operational goals. Ultimately, the role supports the seamless flow of products from receipt to shipment, contributing to customer satisfaction and business success.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent training.
  • Proven experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
