Job summary

BrightPath Kids' Windermere Center in Edmonton is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Assistant to support students with individualized plans and positive behavior strategies.

You will work closely with teaching staff, assist with personal care tasks, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This full-time contract role offers stable hours with no evenings or weekends and a childcare discount as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or ECE Level 1-3 required.
• Training in preventative/de-escalating behaviour or willingness to certify.
• Minimum 1 year experience with students with challenging behavior.
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist students per individualized plans and behavioral support plans.
• Record observations and assist in planning meetings.
• Support preparation of individualized program materials under teacher direction.
• Help with routines including personal care and safety.
