Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Airdrie is hiring a part-time Behavioural Assistant to support students with behavioural needs. Provide assistance per individualized plans, work with teachers to apply behavior strategies, and help prepare materials. Qualifications

• Educational Assistant certification or related diploma is required or asset.
• ECE Level 1–3 credentials are preferred for the role.
• CPR/First Aid certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist students per individualized plans and supports as needed.
• Implement strategies directed by teachers and behavior plans.
• Record observations to guide positive behavior supports.
• Participate in planning meetings and prepare program materials.
• Promote learning, belonging and independence for students.
• Support emotional/behavioral regulation and confidentiality.
