Job summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day Surgery unit at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg. This term position supports patients with complex needs under supervision and coordinates care and discharge.

The role requires one year of Post-Anesthesia and surgical nursing experience, outpatient surgery experience, and Conscious Sedation certification; CRNM registration is required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
Certification in Conscious Sedation required.
Satisfactory employment record is required.

Responsibilities

Provide professional registered nursing services for patients.
Lead within the healthcare team and coordinate patient care.
Assist in discharge planning and care coordination.
Demonstrate commitment to WRHA values and objectives.
