Job summary

RONA in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Day Stocking Associate for evenings on a part-time basis. You will be part of the Receiving and Handling team, turning every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate product flow and maintaining inventory accuracy.

You’ll operate store equipment such as forklifts, handle deliveries, and complete paperwork with care. The role emphasizes health and safety, attention to detail, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous stocking or receiving experience preferred.
• Able to operate store equipment safely.
• Evening and part-time availability required.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
