Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Material Handler in Canada. The role involves operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, and count products, ensuring inbound and outbound goods meet customer specs. SAP experience and forklift operation are essential.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4pm) with benefits including medical/dental coverage, disability insurance, and retirement options. Prior forklift certification and warehouse experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Forklift certificate or completion within 30 days of employment is required.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes during shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock; ensure accuracy of counts.
• Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as needed.
• Inspect equipment daily and report discrepancies or damages.
• Assist in physical inventories and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
