Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions seeks an experienced Lead Shipper to oversee daily shipping activities on the day shift. The role requires forklift operation, prioritizing work, and clear communication with supervisors and team members.

The successful candidate will ensure shipping accuracy, safety, and efficiency, with hands-on leadership to coordinate workload, monitor tasks, and maintain shipping records and inventory updates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have shipping or warehouse experience.
• Must be able to operate a counterbalance forklift safely.
• Must have valid counterbalance forklift certification.
• Experience interpreting factory tickets and work instructions.
• Strong English reading, writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and delegate work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping activities.
• Ensure shipping requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Prioritize workload according to production and shipping demands.
• Interpret factory tickets and shipping instructions.
• Ensure finished goods are properly handled and prepared for shipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Communicate shipping priorities and issues to supervisors.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely.
• Handle finished products using forklift techniques.
• Move products not on skids or pallets.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
